We are very happy to announce the launch of the debut Blind Lemon Gators album will take place on Saturday, July 20th, at Stirling’s Tolbooth Theatre.
Come join us for a wonderful evening of entertainment as we perform our new album of original compositions in full and share with you the stories and anecdotes behind each song, which we are certain will have you laughing and crying in equal measure!
‘Gatorville’ will be officially released shortly after the launch show but there WILL be pre-release copies available on the night.
We would love to see as many of our friends and fans at this show to give it the best launch possible. The show, which is ALL SEATED, will have a limited capacity so please let us know if you intend coming! ❤️
BIO: The Blind Lemon Gators is the brainchild of Scottish singer/songwriter Greig Taylor, cited many times as not just one of Scotland’s hardest working musicians but one of the UK’s finest blues-based vocalists, has been hitting a rich vein of form of late. Last year Greig released the lovely, under-stated covers album #Songbook1 and followed that up with a European Gospel-Blues styled A Capella tour with acclaimed US blues singer Earl Thomas. The highly respected ex GT’s Boos Band and Brian Rawson band front man is releasing his FOURTH studio album. The Blind Lemon Gators features Iain Donald on acoustic slide guitar and former John Martyn drummer Dave Cantwell on drums/percussion. Very much a stripped back, 1930’s delta blues style, the Gators will be performing at venues and festivals throughout the UK and Europe with their brand of acoustic blues.
Tickets £12.50 from Tolbooth 01786 274000 or culturestirling.org
