A free advice and information event designed to encourage local residents to adopt more environmentally friendly lifestyles is being held in Thornhill on Saturday, 5 October.
A drop in market place will introduce householders to a range of ways in which they can start to make more effective use of limited resources and lower their carbon footprint, at home and on the move.
Meet local people involved in sustainable living; take part in food waste reduction workshops, and benefit from the opportunity to test drive electric vehicles and try out electric bikes.
School children from Thornhill Primary School will showcase how they are helping Thornhill move towards a sustainable future, and there will be fun activities for all including the chance to create healthy smoothies through pedal power.
