Set in the spectacular surroundings of Cardross Estate, Port of Menteith, on 14th September, Scotland’s first wild food festival will provide a feast of wild food and the opportunity to try hands-on foraging workshops, wild walks, plant folklore and much more. Whether you are a foraging novice or have been enjoying nature’s wild harvest for many years, there will be something to delight you.
Price: Adult tickets £8 (plus booking fee) & Under 16's FREE
Your entry includes a range of free activities for all ages: From fireside cooking and geocaching to wild ice cream demonstrations and chocolate tasting; art sessions and live music to pedal-powered smoothie making. With some of Scotland’s leading foragers on hand to guide you there is a chance to learn new skills and enjoy all nature offers.
As part of Foraging Fortnight, the festival encourages people, young and old, to step outdoors and discover local wild food.

With your entry ticket to the festival, there is a wealth of free activities on offer with no prior booking required. Additionally, some events and workshops within the festival are individually priced and ticketed and should be booked via the event listings below.
If you are feeling peckish throughout the day, there will be a range of wild-inspired street food as well as a wild food mini-market available - everything from sourdough bread and baking with a foraged twist, to wild flavoured chocolates and elderberry liqueurs.
How to book
Scottish Wild Food Festival tickets are priced at £8 (plus booking fee) per adult with free entry for children under 16. NB. You still need to book the free children’s tickets. Book tickets here.
