We are committed to enabling all young people to move forward to further learning, training and employment. We work in partnership with organisations and employers across the Stirling area to provide appropriate opportunities, support and intervention for all young people, particularly those who are further away from employment.
Youth Employment Activity Plan (YEAP) reflects a strong commitment from local partners, detailing delivery arrangements and referral routes for 16 + opportunities. Within the YEAP is an Employability Pipeline (Stage 1-5) which provides a simple route map to support young people into employment through a staged process.
Our aim is that individuals can receive the support they need, when they need it.
The pipeline provides practitioners throughout Stirling with information to help them in their day to day contact with young people (aged 16 – 24) and provides a clear picture of the range of services available. The pipeline is reliant on the participating organisations providing updates on a regular basis (quarterly) to ensure information is relevant and accurate. We aim to refresh the document at least twice a year.
