The new B&M homestore will be located on the site of the former Homebase unit at Springkerse Retail Park, which has lain vacant since 2018.

Chair of the Planning and Regulation Panel, Councillor Alasdair MacPherson said: “This new store will fill a large vacant unit at Springkerse Retail Park that has been empty for approaching three years, creating a number of new jobs for people in our local communities in the process.”

Vice-Chair, Councillor Danny Gibson, said: “Springkerse Retail Park houses a number of big name brands and B&M will complement those already on offer there, rather than introducing new retailers that would compete with the City Centre.”
