Library closures

Strathblane Library will close its temporary home in the Kirk rooms on the 24 March 2023 in order to move the service to the new Thomas Graham Library.

With work complete on the fantastic new Thomas Graham Library building, we will be closing on 24 March and moving into the new facility. A full Library service will be available by mid-April and an opening event planned for later in the month.

Strathblane Library have been delighted to be hosted in the Kirk Rooms for the past year, they have provided a superb venue for which we offer our sincere thanks. This venue has allowed us to maintain an excellent service to the benefit of the community. We will be sad to leave but excited to be making the move and continuing to serve the Strathblane community.

Doune Library is currently closed for refurbishment, but we’ll reopen it as soon as possible.

We’ll share the reopening date as soon as it’s confirmed.

Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Killin Library will be closed on Friday 17 March.

It will reopen as normal on Monday 20 March.

Stirling Central Library's 1st-floor reference library will be closed until further notice due to heating issues.

The lending library is open as normal.
