Sports club relief application

Clubs who do sports that are recognised by Sport Scotland can apply for relief on their business rates.

Sports Club Relief allows us to award up to 100% relief for properties that are used for sporting activities.  If you require further information regarding this relief please call the Rates Team on 01786 233175.

Before you begin

For your application to be considered you will be asked to provide the following documentation:

  • Memorandum and Articles of Association or Constitution
  • Latest Statement of Accounts
  • Statement of Bar takings (where required)
