Concessionary rates

Concessionary rates apply to

  • all children’s/youth groups under 18, for example playgroups, parent and toddlers
  • churches
  • uniformed organisations
  • voluntary non-profit making/charitable organisations working with under 18’s
  • organisations whose principal aims include the well-being and welfare of those with a disability, or people over the age of 60 and where the majority of those attending the activity for which the let is being made either have a disability or are over 60.

The following lets have no charge within core hours of Monday to Friday, 9am to 10pm

  • Stirling Councillor's business meetings within local school or centres
  • Community Council business meetings
  • Stirling Council delivered arts development classes
  • Stirling Council delivered playscheme
  • Stirling Council delivered youth programme activities
  • Stirling Council adult education / literacies activities (delivered by approved providers)
  • Stirling Council delivered training courses
  • Libraries, Learning, Communities, Cultural activities within own buildings / centres
  • Business meetings of Urban Regeneration groups recognised by Stirling Council
  • Business meetings of Community Planning Groups recognised by Stirling Council
  • Tenants / Residents associations business meetings
  • Active Stirling Sport and physical activity classes/holiday programme

Performing Right Society Payments

For bookings where taped or live music will be in use, payments for the Performing Rights Society will continue to be charged on the current basis. The amounts payable are as follows.

  • £4 hourly charge for lets with a charge
  • £10 one-off payment for lets without charge

Flexible working spaces are available to hire:

  • Group room 1: up to 40 people
  • Group room 2: up to 20 people
  • Meeting room: up to 16 people
