The Community Enterprise Grant (CEG) 2025/26 launches on the 5 May 2025.
This fund is part of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and is intended to empower community-led organisations to explore and develop sustainable, community enterprise initiatives that encourage local economic resilience in order to invest in quality community places and assets, and enhance the quality of community wellbeing. The grant is intended for community organisations who can develop new or enhance existing enterprising activities creating sustainable enterprising initiatives, which generate income streams, benefit the community as a whole, and create opportunities for individuals living and working within it.
This is a revenue fund and should contribute to sustainable income generation that enhances community places, improved opportunity and community wellbeing, and/or benefits social action projects, local civil society and community groups.
Applications for funding between £3,000 and £5,000 are invited from community organisations and charities. The closing date is 12 noon on Friday 6 June 2025.

When you have all the required information in place, submit a fully completed application form, both the Outputs and Outcomes tables (two tables) and all relevant supporting information as detailed within the checklist in the application form.

Applicants will be notified in June 2025 and projects should be complete by 31 March 2026.
