Support for voluntary and community groups

Stirling Council offers grant support to voluntary and community for projects that support local initiatives, encourage environmental improvement and promote community activities.

We also offer support in developing the skills, knowledge and capacity of local voluntary and community organisations, in relation to funding and fundraising.

Our services include:

  • providing advice and information on funding and funding sources
  • outreach and one to one group support
  • training sessions and workshops on funding and related issues
  • running funding surgeries and organising funding seminars and events

Community grants from Stirling Council

This programme is currently under review and therefore not open to any further grant applications at the moment.

We have two funding programmes that provide grants ranging from £100 - £1,500. We accept applications from constituted community and voluntary groups for projects which benefit residents in the Stirling Council area and help to develop prosperous, healthy, achieving and resilient communities. Capital and revenue project costs will both be considered.
