Police Report

PC Hynd arrived and requested that she be taken first as she may yet get called away. This was agreed by the meeting. PC Hynd reported with an apology for non-attendance but this was due to operational decisions by senior officers and that as she is the sole area officer for the Braehead/Broom ridge/ Bannockburn area it means that she is not always available.

Again this was due to operational decisions. The CC let it be known that they were quite concerned that only one officer cover/area. PC Hynd stated that it was hoped she would have another officer allocated in the next two weeks.

A discussion ensued regarding area cover and operational reporting. PC Hynd stated that reporting was kept as concise as possible. It was pointed out that better reporting styles are given to certain other CC’s. PC Hynd agreed that she would examine these and try to formulate a better reporting style.

PC Hynd left the meeting.

The Minutes of the previous meeting of 27th June were approved as record by Martin Shaw and Seconded by Mandy Rae.

No Chairperson report.

Secretary’s report was read out and approved as a minute attachment.

There was no Treasurer report .

Fire Service wishes to liaise with CC, to attend meetings from time to time and co=operate with CC on matters relating to Fire Safety, eg Bonfires etc.

A new Community Warden and a new Green Space Ranger.

Superglass report:

Andrew reported that noise insulation now installed. Now doing regular testing on systems to ensure noise is at a minimum. More to be done but satisfied at progress thus far.

Ian Findlay Path Fund.

It was greed to co-operate with this plan and that a sub group be set up to oversee programme. This would consist of Martin Shaw and Mandy Rae as a start with one other (either Secretary or Chair.). Mandy requested that since she was aware of two members of the public interested in this could they be included in the sub group. It was advised that it would be on a consultative basis only, with no decision or voting rights. This was agreed.

There being no further business the meeting was closed with a thanks for attendance. Next meeting is 26th September 2022.
