  3. MATTERS ARISING AND ENQUIRIES UPDATE

    SPEN FUNDING: MONEY IS STILL ON HOLD FOR FALLIN SPEN LOOKING AT ALL IDEAS GIVEN,
    MORE INFORMATION REQUESTED FROM CLR MAUREEN BENNISON

    BRUCE DRIVE CARPARK ISSUE: STILL WAITING ON UPDATED RESPONSE FROM HOUSING
    TEAM AND PLANS BEING PUT IN PLACE TO ARRANGE PETITION FOR VILLAGE IF WE ARE
    UNSUCCESFUL IN OUR REQUEST.

     

    HARDIE CRESCENT TREE: LAND SERVICES SENDING TREE SQUAD TO TRIM THIS BACK.

     

    WALKWAY/POLMAISE CRESCENT SUBSIDENCE: ENGINEERS VISITED BUT COULD NOT GAIN
    ENTRANCE TO EMBANKMENT- LAND SERVICES COMING TO CLEAR ACCESS FOR FULL
    INSPECTION TO BE DONE. CLR BRISLEY WILL CONTACT DONNA CAMPBELL TO ASK FOR AN
    IDEA OF TIME SCALE ON THIS ISSUE

     

    FLY TIPPING WALKWAY: THIS HAS BEEN CLEARED

     

    CYCLE PATH CLEARANCE: RESPONSE FROM SC IS THAT THIS PATH IS CLEARED TWICE A YEAR
    BUT ADMIT IT WAS NOT DONE IN 2020 DUE TO COVID PANDEMIC. ANGELA SIMPSON HAS
    BEEN TO PATH TO TAKE PHOTOS AND MEASUREMENTS TO HELP WITH A REPORT FOR
    MAINTENANCE ISSUES.

     

    DEFIB FUNDING: TESCO FALLIN AND STIRLING HAVE INCLUDED US IN THEIR FUNDING,
    PUBLIC CHOOSE WHO TO HELP AND WE WILL RECEIVE BETWEEN £500 AND £1500 IN
    DECEMBER WHEN THIS IS FINALISED.

     

    BUS SERVICES: FIRST BUS CONTACTED, THEY ADVISED CUTS TO SERVICE WERE DUE TO
    DRIVER SHORTAGES FROM COVID ISSUES. ONLY DONE IF NO OTHER OPTION AND WILL POST
    NOTICE OF ANY CANCELLATIONS ON ITS SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS.

    *NEW CROSSING WITHOUT LIGHTS: EMAIL SENT TO CC ENQUIRY TO ASK WHEN THESE WILL
    BE ADDED

    *GRACIE CRESCENT PARK MAINTENANCE: EMAIL INCLUDING PICTURES SENT TO CC
    ENQUIRY TO ASK WHY THESE REPAIRS HAVE NOT YET BEEN DONE AS WE HAVE PREVIOUSLY
    REQUESTED THIS AND WERE TOLD IT WOULD BE DONE.

    THIS PATH CAN BE CLEARED BY LAND SERVICES

    *LACK OF DROPPED KERBS ON STIRLING ROAD FOR WHEELCHAIR CROSSING: EMAIL SENT
    TO CC ENQUIRY ASKING WHY THERE IS LIMITED ACCESS FOR WHEELCHAIRS/MOBILITY
    SCOOTERS TO CROSS STIRLING ROAD
