  1. Welcome, apologies & Conflicts of Interests

Apologies received from Mary McKinlay and Ronnie Robertson no conflict of interests.

  1. Approval of Minutes

The minutes were proposed by GC and seconded by GS, no matters arising from previous

meeting.

  1. Chair Report.

 Ochil Centre Update, BH has said that the Stirling District Scouts have declared an interest in

the Ochil Centre and are keen to sublet to other group’s Ad Hoc or other.

JT said there are other interested bidders to sublet.

 Stirling University has launched the GreenLaunch Roadshow, the aim is to educate and

empower individuals and organisations that might be interested in starting a business,

exploring self-employment. There are 3 sessions.

Wednesday 19th March 1.00- 4.00pm Raploch Community Campus

Wednesday 26 March 4.00-8.00pm Cowie Community Hub

Tuesday 1 April 1.00-4.00 Killin Sports & Social Hub

All sessions free and snacks will be provided.

 Marie Clair has an ongoing appeal for children’s books for Raploch Reads JW has some to

donate.

  1. JT confirmed the budget has been set at an 8.8% rise in Council Tax

Brown bins costs are rising from £50 to £52.

Raploch sites 8-22 are still to be decanted no date so far has been set.

The 20 mph is now permanent on all roads in the Raploch.

There has been calls for the Deli in the Campus Hub to be reopened however it will be the

Education Department who has the final decision HK has expressed an interested in using

the space.

Riding for the disabled have yet to find somewhere suitable, they are still interested in the

area Tree link are proposing to introduce a wetland/walking area.

  1. Police report.

There were 134 calls made to the police however some of these are duplicate calls or

reports.

There were 9 undetected and 16 detected cases.

  1. GC collected 200 forms to be distributed in the community some by hand through the

residents doors, there are bundles in the campus hub, also in schools, pubs and shops the

form can also be completed online BH will post the details on the Community Council

website, GC has had a positive feedback.

  1. AOCB Stephen Blye will offer his expertise to help enlist a treasurer, secretary and vice chair

he is hoping to attend the next council meeting, meanwhile BH will advertise the positions

on social media.
