(FM) has been in touch with SC about electrics for the lampposts the cost of lighting for 15 lights would be £9000 there is a cost for each lamppost, fitting and turning on. Lights for remembrance can be sold to residents to remember their loved ones. Action (PG) will donate two lights worth £600 each. PG suggested a Just Giving page and see if we can get donations. (FM) Light weight takes £2000 each year to put the lights up and store them. That is why we want to fund raise each year. Community group in Fallin run the community garden, lights and other events that are held in the Fallin Club. (PG) reminded everyone that it is difficult to get people to help and consistently come back to help in the community. (WL) asked if there is a contact in the village that would help out (PG) maybe a keyholder would be here that would be happy to help out i.e. lights going out, doors being kicked in by youngsters. (FM) there is a path along towards the main road, it is filthy and crumbling Action (WL).
  6. Police Report: No Police present again and no police report sent. This is a regular problem we have with the police Action (WL) will contact Stephen Bly to report this. (JM) stated Graham Woodhouse is our police officer who should be in attendance.
  7. Councillors Report: No councillor in attendance, this is recurring. Action (WL) will contact Stephen Bly to report this and let him know how disappointed the TCC are and find out if there is a rota of councillor attendance we can have.
  8. Throsk Enterprise Trust: discussing the vermin in the village, if an individual reports this it has a cost for an investigation. This should now be brought to the attention of a community issue rather than an individual issue. (PG) said he attended at a TCC meeting a year ago and this issue is still being discussed. It looks like we are being stone-walled here and as there is no councillor in attendance, we are sitting here with our hands tied as no one is taking this forward. Throsk Community Council is the voice for the village. Stephen Bly is the person who should be forwarding the information to the relevant parties and responding with a copy to the TCC. Action (WL) Ask Stephen Bly to send a Community Liaison Officer down to

the next meeting as currently, the feeling is of little confidence in SC. Bingo - (PG) will look at the rota to see what is available for the bingo that FM wants to run.. Action (FM) will put together a plan of what she wants to use the hall for and send it to (PG). 9. Correspondence N/A

  1. Planning N/A
  2. AOB (Res) asked who cuts the hedges at the park – the council have the responsibility to maintain this. (IC) called about the rodents and was told that (SC) don’t do this anymore. He would have to pay £176; he has now paid this and they sent out a company, he will put bait down but there is a problem with the hole and SC needs to come and fix this. (Res) this is not an individual issue it is a village issue and should be dealt with.
