Bryan was born in Stirling and joined the Royal Navy after leaving school. There, he volunteered for service in the Submarine Fleet and specialised as a navigation officer.
Upon leaving the Royal Navy in 2017, Bryan was first elected to Stirling Council that same year and was re-elected in the 2022 local elections.
Bryan is a qualified pilot and has the pleasure of living in the ward he represents with his wife, young daughter, and their three dogs.
