Starting next month, The CSHSCP will engage with service users, carers, local people and community groups in the area in a two-stage consultative process.
In Stage 1 – Pre-Consultation (6 December to 25 January) – communities will be advised on the consultation plans and their feedback will inform how Stage 2 – Consultation on the Model of Care (1 February to 15 March) – will be conducted.
The focus of these sessions will be a series of online events that will provide updates on the proposed new model of care. This will include a range of respite options and flexible person centred short breaks. Local communities will have the opportunity to explore and influence the proposals during the consultation process with Senior Managers from the CSHSCP.
The first virtual meetings with key representatives from the CSHSCP will take place on Tuesday, 8 December (7pm) and Wednesday, 9 December (4.30pm) on Microsoft Teams. Anyone interested in taking part in the meetings should email: email@example.com to secure an invite which will include the ability to dial in for audio only.
Slides from the meetings will be available to view on the Stirling Council website after the events, while an online survey is being developed for people to respond to the consultation.
Following the consultation, a report, which will include recommendations for next steps, will be fed into the Clackmannanshire and Stirling Integration Joint Board for discussion and approval.
