James Arthur announces headline show outdoors at Stirling Summer Sessions

James Arthur has today announced a huge outdoor headline show at the inaugural Stirling Summer Sessions on Thursday 27 June 2024 with support from Loreen and Fatherson.

Fans can access the Summer Sessions presale from 10am on Wednesday 28 February by signing up at www.smmrsessions.com. Those not signed up can get their hands on tickets from 10am on Friday 1 March via www.smmrsessions.com/locations/stirling.

Chart-topping singer-songwriter, James Arthur, will play a headline slot at Stirling Summer Sessions at Stirling City Park this June, with support from Eurovision superstar Loreen and local Scottish band Fatherson.

James Arthur has recently released his fifth studio album ‘Bitter Sweet Love’ which debuted at number one in the UK charts, marking his second number one album in his 12 year career. In total, the singer has gone platinum four times and gold twice since his rise to fame in 2012 when he won the ninth season of The X Factor and will now be stopping by Stirling City Park for his only Scottish festival appearance this year.

Joining James Arthur will be Eurovision legend Loreen who shot to fame in 2012 after winning the competition with ‘Euphoria’ and then went on to become the first woman and the second person ever to win twice following her performance of ‘Tattoo’ in 2023. Also on the Stirling Summer Sessions bill is Scottish alt-rock band Fatherson who have previously toured with Biffy Clyro, Feeder, and Idlewild.  

As a small city with a big history which is celebrating its 900th anniversary in 2024, Stirling is known for the attraction of its historic Castle which will form the stunning backdrop of the Stirling Summer Sessions stage at Stirling City Park.

Stirling has a strong track record of successfully hosting major events and big crowds, and the city’s central location provides excellent transport links, being within an hour’s travel time for 50% of Scotland’s population.

Music lovers can travel with ease to Stirling Summer Sessions – reaching the Stirling City Park from Glasgow in only 35 minutes, and Edinburgh in 50 minutes by train.
