The letter also includes some top festive recycling tips along with the opening times of the Household Waste Recycling Centres at Lower Polmaise, Callander and Balfron.

Residents are asked to check the dates on the letter carefully as their bin may be emptied in advance of their normal collection day.

As in previous years, the brown bin collection will be suspended for one cycle (26 December - 1 January).

Residents will be asked to present their brown bin for collection on the following cycle (9-15 January). After this point, brown bins will be emptied as normal every two weeks.

Please note, this means that the last brown collection of the year will be next week (12-18 December).

Glass box collections will continue as normal.

Additional Healthcare Waste bin collections between 19 and 24 December and 3 and 8 January will run as scheduled. Households with these collections due on 25 December and 2 January will receive a letter with an alternative collection date.

Residents can also check their festive collection dates through the post code search on the Council website

Commercial customers should note that their service will run one day later than their normal scheduled collection date between 26 December and 8 January.
