Pay an invoice

You can use this online service to pay any council bill, except rent or Council Tax for your home.

Before you begin

To protect your privacy, we never display your account balance. If you make a payment after 8pm UK time, it will be credited to you account at the close of the next working day.

To pay online you will need:

  • your account or customer reference – the 9-character number you can find on any correspondence from us
  • our invoice number – this is printed on the bill we sent you
  • your payment card details

Enter your reference in the format account reference/invoice number. It should look S0023456/6700000 or 30234567/6700000.

If you do not know your account reference, call us on 01786 404040. We are open 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
