The Conservation Area Regeneration Scheme is a £3.1 million project that's funded by:
- Historic Environment Scotland
- Stirling Council
The scheme covers a specific zone within the Stirling Town and Royal Park Conservation Area. Within this zone, it aims to:
- provide grants so that people can regenerate the historic properties they own or rent
- improve public spaces by regenerating historic elements
The scheme will also support:
- the restoration of Stirling Arcade and the Alhambra Theatre
- work to make John Cowane's House a community resource and visitor attraction
