Evidence Report consultation activities and feedback

All maps and spatial data used in the Evidence Report are available for viewing on the Council’s Planning Data Hub.

A key part of the Evidence Report process was to gather information from early consultation and engagement, and use the information gathered to establish what to plan for before the proposed Local Development Plan identifies the specific locations where new development should talk place. Details of the consultation activities and feedback received can be found through the link below. Additional information can be found in the individual topic papers (1-16) and the Evidence Report Participation Statement reference above.

"Have a Say in the Future of Your Place" survey consultation (2023)

Between August and October 2023, we carried out a public consultation called "Have a Say in the Future of Your Place". We invited people to share their views on the issues and challenges relating to the areas where they live, work, or spend their time, as well as to highlight priorities for consideration in the preparation of LDP3.

The feedback from the consultation has been presented in the following reports:

- " Have a Say in the Future of Your Place" Consultation Feedback Report (April 2024)
- Housing Analysis Report (April 2024)

"Shaping Stirling's Next Local Development Plan" survey consultation (2024)

Between April and June 2024, we carried out a second survey-based consultation which gathered views on what should be included in the Evidence Report.

Views were also collected to build up an evidence base for important policy areas concerning Housing, Local Living, and Heritage and open space.

The feedback is presented in "Shaping Stirling's Next Local Development Plan - Consultation Feedback Report, November 2024."

“Play Parks” survey consultation (2024)

Between May and June 2024, we carried out a play parks survey, built upon the “Play, Sports, and Recreation Areas” survey published as part of the Shaping Stirling’s Next Local Development Plan consultation.

The survey collect feedback from children and young people across nursery, primary and secondary school age groups, including individuals that made representations on their behalf.

The feedback is presented in “Play, Sports, and Recreation – Consultation Feedback Report, March 2025”.
