Stirling Council Schools' Junior Orchestra

Following on from the success of recent events, we are pleased to be inviting pupils to take part in our Junior Orchestra. This event is open to all pupils who play a stringed, woodwind or brass instrument and attend a Primary School in Stirling Council. Pupils should be able to read basic music.

Please speak to your child's instrumental tutor if you have any queries about the standard.

There will be an informal concert at 7pm on Monday June 2 at Stirling High school and all parents and friends are warmly invited.

Rehearsals: Date and time: Mondays 19 and 26 May 2025, 4:30pm - 5:45pm 

Cost: No Fee

Venue: Dunblane Primary School, Doune Road, Dunblane FK15 9AU

Transport: Own

Other: Please bring a music stand if you have one (with identity tag)

Final Rehearsal:  Monday 2 June 2025, 4:30pm-6pm

Venue: Stirling High School, Torbrex Road, Stirling FK8 2PA

Transport: Own

Dinner: Pupils should bring a packed tea and should not leave the venue between the rehearsal and the concert
