Increase in scam calls targeting MECS service users

Stirling & Clackmannanshire Council are issuing a warning to all users of our Mobile Emergency Care Service (MECS) regarding a recent increase in scam calls targeting elderly residents. These cold call scams are falsely offering an "enhanced telecare service" for an additional cost, aiming to deceive and exploit our community members.
