Dementia support

We work to make Stirling a place where people with dementia are able to live sustainable, independent lives. We do this in partnership with a range of organisations, including:

  • NHS Forth Valley
  • local businesses
  • third sector bodies

If you have concerns about dementia, or you need information and support, the council and its partners can help.

What you can do if you're worried about dementia

If you’re concerned that you or someone you care for might have dementia and may need to be assessed, you can contact your GP. If you need to register with a local surgery, you can find contacts using the NHS Inform GP practice search.

If you want to have an informal chat with someone about dementia, or get further information, you can contact Alzheimer Scotland.
