Our Streets Ahead team supports adults with learning disabilities in the Stirling Council area.
Streets Ahead works with these adults to:
- promote independence
- encourage personal development
- help them access local services, activities and events
What Streets Ahead does
Streets Ahead staff help adults with learning disabilities to take part in wide range of activities. These activities might involve:
- creative expression, such as art, drama, dance and music
- health and wellbeing, such as cooking
- participating in local groups and activities
- taking a class or course
- playing sport or exercising
- learning how to travel independently
