Our facility provides Day Support for adults with profound and complex needs. The Centre has been designed to ensure its extensive range of facilities are accessible to everyone including people with a range of abilities and support needs. An induction hearing loop is available in our reception area, meeting and training rooms. Our facility is barrier-free and wheelchair accessible. We also have specialist bathing and toilet facilities. Tracking hoists ensure comfort to all Service Users who require them.
We have rooms for meetings, presentations and training for local groups, community groups, the public and other Council services. Please see our online booking request form for more information.
We are open to the public to enjoy lunch, relax and view works by our Service Users. We are a member of Changing Places.
Attending Riverbank for day support
If you wish to attend Riverbank for day support, we will require to assess your needs. Your needs are assessed through a care assessment.
Contributing to your care
Riverbank day support is a chargeable service. Please refer to our information about how much you may have to contribute towards your care.
If you are not happy with our day support service and wish to complain about us, please look at our complaints procedure which provides information about who to contact and how your complaint will be addressed.
We are regulated by the Care Inspectorate. Please read their latest report.
