This Team offer support to the local community and voluntary groups but other local support includes -
Stirlingshire Voluntary Enterprise (SVE)
The SVE offer a comprehensive range of services to voluntary organisations, charities, social enterprises and groups and includes Getting Fit for Funding, Governance, Charity law, Volunteer support and SCOI Introduction. Resources can be downloaded from their website. Membership is free for organisations working or based within the Stirling Council area.

Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO)
The SCVO offer short courses covering a broad range of topics such as IT, Organisational Governance, Personal Development, Employment Law and Capacity Building. There is a cost for attending.

STEP (Stirling Enterprise Park)
STEP helps Stirling businesses get started by providing advice, training and contacts. They offer workshops covering on topics such as IT, web, accounting, sales, health and safety and HR. Many of their courses are suitable for the community and voluntary organisations. Some costs involved.

The College offers a number of training qualifications such a those on health and hygiene, management and leadership, and Higher education qualifications such as English and Maths. The college operates from various locations such as Raploch. Some costs may apply.

Planning Aid for Scotland
Planning Aid for Scotland offers independent and impartial advice as well as continued support through their advice service. They have a range of training programmes for everyone, from experts to amateur and an educational programme for young people. PAS help communities, developers and professionals to understand and take part in the system and through SP=EED™, which is a practical guide to engagement in planning, it promotes and helps share good practice
