When Someone Dies
This is a guide to what you need to do in the weeks and months after someone dies.
When arranging a full coffin burial, it is most likely that you will appoint a funeral director to carry out your wishes.
Purchasing the Exclusive Right of Burial in advance can only be accommodated in Cemeteries where there is sufficient land resource available.
Graves & Memorials
The exclusive right of burial, subject to the Conditions of Use, be secured to the purchaser and his or her successors in perpetuity or for a period of not less than 100 years

Funerals & Cremations
Public Health funerals are arranged by the Local Authority under the National Assistance Act 1948, Section 50.
