Area Community Planning involves local communities and public organisations working together to improve public services.
Issues identified in Local Community Plans inform the priorities for the community working to influence services and share resources and skills to tackle issues that affect everyone, such as health, transport, employment, housing, education and community safety.

There are 3 communities of interest community planning forum, which are made up of representatives from community groups, individuals and national organisations.

Multi-Cultural Partnership is made up of groups including Central Scotland African Union, Central Scotland Chinese Association, Forth Valley Indian Women’s Association, Indian Community Centre, Pakistani Social & Welfare Association, Polish Group in Stirling and Forth Valley Russian Speakers Association.
